Question 1

How much does wedding catering cost in the UK?

Accepted Answer

Wedding catering is quoted around your date, venue, guest count, chosen style, menu, staffing, equipment and travel. There is no single national per-person rate that fits every brief. Share an overall or per-person budget in your enquiry so suitable options can be explored before detailed menu planning.

Question 2

How many guests can you cater for?

Accepted Answer

The practical guest count depends on the service style, venue facilities and the catering team available for your date. Tell us your estimated number and whether it may change; the suitable format and capacity must be checked against the venue and confirmed before you book.

Question 3

Can you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?

Accepted Answer

Include dietary needs and allergies in your first enquiry, with details about severity and cross-contact concerns. The catering team must confirm ingredients, preparation and service controls. We will not describe a menu as allergen-safe until the responsible caterer has confirmed the arrangements.

Question 4

Can we arrange a menu tasting?

Accepted Answer

You can ask about a tasting when you enquire. Whether one is available, where it takes place and whether there is a charge depends on the caterer, menu, location and schedule. A tasting is not automatically included; any arrangement is confirmed before booking.

Question 5

How far in advance should we book?

Accepted Answer

Popular summer and Saturday dates can be reserved early, so it is sensible to enquire once your date and venue are taking shape. Late enquiries are still welcome, but availability and suitable catering options need to be checked for the specific date and location.

Question 6

Can we combine a wedding breakfast with evening food?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A day might include canapés, a seated wedding breakfast and later pizza, BBQ food, a buffet or sandwiches. Share the timetable, guest numbers and venue setup so the different services can be considered together.

Question 7

Do you cover wedding venues throughout the UK?

Accepted Answer

We welcome enquiries across the UK, including locations beyond our dedicated regional guides. Availability is checked individually against your date, venue, travel and catering requirements; a regional guide does not guarantee a local supplier or confirmed service.
